The Meeting of the Board of Governors (RDG) of Bank Indonesia held on March 7, 2006 decided to continue the tight bias monetary policy, which reflects the central bank commitment to containing inflationary pressure that still quite high. Therefore, RDG Bank Indonesia has decided to keep BI rate at the level of 12,75%.
